The Key West Police Department arrested a Miami woman on Sunday after she bit her husband and pushed over his motorcycle.

Kathleen Margaret Ryan, 41, was charged with battery and damaging property over $1,000.

Around 3:55 a.m., officers responded to Sigsbee Park, where they met with Ryan and the victim. The victim, Ryan’s husband, stated they were in town for the Poker Run. According to him, Ryan had gone back to Sigsbee earlier in the night, while he stayed out with some guys he met over the weekend. However, on his return, he said Ryan tipped over his motorcycle and then bit him several times. Officers documented two bite marks on the victim, one on his left arm and one on his chest.

According to the report, Ryan appeared intoxicated and claimed there was no altercation. She stated she didn’t bite him, and she had no clue that the motorcycle was on the ground.

The victim agreed to press charges. His injuries and the damage to the motorcycle were entered as evidence.

Ryan was transported to the Monroe County Detention Center, where she was being held on a $20,000 bond.

Information in the Crime Report is obtained from reports provided by area law enforcement agencies.
